Well another day was rolling by and it would seem like Sora and Selphie were together more often.  Sora didn’t know whether it was too soon to start dating again but, one thing he did know was his pain had faded.  “Sora…, you ok”, Selphie asked.  “Yea”, he said as he smiled at her.  “Sorry, I must have blanked out”, he said.  The two were walking through the halls together and many people noticed the change, especially Kairi.  She felt betrayed by her friend.  Most of all she felt betrayed by Sora…  How could he just leave her for Selphie.
Kairi was on her way home and she looked at her good luck charm Sora gave back to her.  Her pain and sorrow grew.  She stopped walking and fell to her knees.  “ W-H-Y !!! ”, she shouted.  “Are you ok”, a voice said from behind.  It was Riku.  “Oh ! Riku”, you scared me”, Kairi said.  “Really?  You scarred me shouting like that lol”, Riku said.  “Sorry”, she said with a smile.  “You still never answered my question”, Riku said.  “It’s nothing”, Kairi lied.  “It’s Sora isn’t  it”, Riku inferred.  She looked up.  “How’d you know?”, she asked.  “I’ve know you all my life”, he said.  “And I’ve noticed whenever Sora is feeling down you are too”, he said.
She put her head down.  “I don’t think Sora is feeling too sad lately”, she said.  “Trust me he is, but after what you did I would be too”, Riku said. Kairi then looked up in confusion.  “WHAT DID I DO!!!”, she shouted.  “I WOULD NEVER DO ANYTHING TO HURT HIM!!!”, she yelled.  “What do you mean?  You don’t know?”, he asked her.  Kairi looked up at him in desperation.  “He broke up with you because you kissed Tidus”, he explained.  Kairi was in complete shock.  “WHAT !?  I never…”, she muttered.  “The night of your big date”, Riku said.  “When I got there, I couldn’t even find Sora.  I saw S-E-L-P-H-I-E”, she said with suspicion.  “Riku you have to believe me”, she said.  Riku looked into her eyes and saw how true she was.  “Ok, but who was it that Sora saw kissing Tidus”, Riku said.  “I don’t know but, something strange is going on”, she said.  “and Selphie has something to do with it.

“OK WIMPS !!!!!!!!  THAT’S ENOUGH HIT THE SHOWERS”, the gym teacher said.  Kairi was exhausted from her gym class.  “I can’t believe we had to run fifty laps around the school”, said Kairi as she closed her gym locker.  “Ok you got what you wanted now you do my bidding!”, a strange voice whispered from the showers.  Kairi immediately hid behind the wall so she wasn’t seen.  “Nah, I don’t think so”, another mysterious voice said.  Kairi peeked around the corner and to her surprise it was Selphie and Maleficent.  “Little girl you got your precious S-O-R-A now do as I say.” Selphie changed herself into Kairi and said, “NO!”  
Kairi then finally made sense of what happened that night.  “You won’t do as I say?!  Then I’ll just have to take away your precious SORA”, Maleficent said.  Selphie changed back into herself and said, “NO!”  “Then do as I say”, Maleficent threatened.  “ok…”, Selphie said as she fell to her knees.  Maleficent then said, “Good.  Now hurry on we have business to take care of.”  The two left through a dark portal.  Kairi didn’t know what to do.  Help Selphie or save her lost relationship with Sora.  “I gotta find Sora”, She said.  
School was starting to end and she still hadn’t found Sora.  She felt so desperate at that point.  Stuck in the middle of a situation where she could loose her first love’s life or save the witch who separated them.  She continued to search but still no Sora.  She eventually gave up.  She decided to just go home and figure out everything .  That night she sat up in her bed just anxious to talk to Sora and explain everything that had happened.  [ But, will he believe her? ]

It was finally Friday and Kairi was up right away.  She was anxious to make up with Sora.  She left her house and immediately saw Sora on her path to school.  She quickly ran to catch up to him.  
“S-O-R-A!”, Kairi yelled.  He turned around and wasn’t too happy to see her.  He kept walking as if he didn’t see her.  She quickly ran to stop him.  “Please don’t go”, she said.  She grabbed his hand from behind to stop him.
“WHAT DO YOU WANT !!!”, he said in a disappointed tone.  Kairi put her head down and said, “It wasn’t me…”  Sora didn’t know what she meant.  “It wasn’t me kissing Tidus”, she said.  “What do you mean!?  If it wasn’t you then who!?”,  Sora said.  “ S - E - L - P - H - I - E !!!”, Kairi said.  “ I can’t believe you just said that”, he said.  “Your pathetic!!!”, Sora said.  “Please !!!  Just listen to me!”, Kairi said as she started crying.  Sora looked her in the eyes.  He wanted to believe her but, the whole story sounded to farfetched.  “Your crazy!”, Sora said as he ran off to school.  Kairi dropped to the ground as she continued to cry.  She eventually got up and went on to school.  
She went through the day feeling like Sora hated her.  Sora went through the day confused.  He didn’t know whether his love for Selphie was real or was he just manipulated by Selphie.  Secondly was he still in love with Kairi.  He didn’t know what to do.  He searched for Selphie but it seemed like she was absent that day.  They both left school more confused then they were before.

That morning Kairi woke up in a depressed mood.  She could still hear the cold words Sora spoke to her.  She turned in her bed and looked out her window.  She gazed towards the beach.  “I need sometime to myself and think”, she said.  She got up and got dressed.  She started to head down to the beach.  She sat down in the sand.  She took a deep breathe.  Suddenly she heard a moan.  She looked around.  She then heard it again, this time it came from the cave near the waterfall.  She decided to go check it out.  When she got in the cave she found Selphie lying on the ground in tattered clothes.  She began to just leave her but then thought how cold blooded and heartless that would be; just like Selphie.
Kairi dragged her out of the cave and out on the beach.  She splashed water on Selphie to wake her up.  Selphie coughed and began to awake.  “Why did you help me?”, Selphie said.  “Even though you’re a jealous, manipulating, evil, backstabbing, slut.  I’m not gonna leave someone who needs help!!!”, Kairi said as she starred at Selphie in disgust.  “Now YOU’RE coming with ME to find Sora!”, Kairi said.  Selphie looked up and said, “What makes you think I’m gonna tell him?!”  Kairi became enraged and slapped Selphie across her face.  “You’re gonna tell him!”, Kairi shouted.  “NEVER!!!”, Selphie yelled as she jumped at Kairi.  The two began to fight and call each others name.
Meanwhile Sora was walking by the shore and noticed the two fighting.  He immediately ran to split them apart.  “STOP THIS!!!”, he yelled.  The two froze in their tracks.  “Sweetie”, Selphie said as she huffed and puffed.  “SORA PLEASE DON’T FALL FOR HER LIES”, Kairi pleaded.  Sora looked into Selphie’s eyes and then into Kairi’s.  Kairi began to cry and then said, “Please… I still love you.”  Selphie began to get angry.
“SORA! She’s only gonna hurt you again…”, Selphie said.  Sora didn’t know who to believe.  “SORA!!!”, Selphie yelled.  Sora turned to Selphie and said, “I’m sorry Kairi…”  “YES !!!  HE CHOSE ME, HE CHOSE ME!!!”, Selphie yelled.  She got so excited she didn’t even notice she accidentally shape shifted into Kairi again.  Sora looked at her and was in complete shock.  She tried to kiss Sora.  Sora pushed Selphie away.  “What’s wrong”, Selphie said.  She looked at her reflection in the water.  “NOOooooo!!!!”, Selphie screamed as she turned back into herself.  “YOU LOVE ME !!!! YOU - LOVE - ME !!!”, she screamed as she grabbed him.  He pushed her off of him as he turned to Kairi.  “I’m Sorry”, they both said at the same time.  Kairi looked down with a smile and pulled out her good luck charm.  She grabbed his hand and handed it to him.  Sora put his other hand on her face and kissed her.  “I was afraid I lost you”, Kairi said as she hugged him.  “I thought I lost you”, he said to her.  “I promise to never doubt your love again”, he said.  Selphie sat in the sand in despair as she listen to the two make up.
She picked herself up and limped away.  Sora and Kairi spent the rest of the day on the shore, sitting together in the sand until night came around.  Then all of a sudden Kairi said, “Look a shooting star.”  “Make a wish”, Sora said.  “I wish that we’re never apart again…”, she said to herself as the two enjoyed the night in each other’s arms.
